
Fuji XF 27 f2.8 WR - The “don’t think, just bring” Lens
A holiday finally convinced me to pick up the XF 27 f2.8 WR as my new small and do it all lens of choice. Is it just a holiday snap shooter, or can it keep up with the big pricey lenses on my adventures as well?

Ten Years - The longest I’ve spent on a single photo
Ten years. That’s how long it took to make this picture happen. The entirety of my photographic journey, several jobs, relationships, houses, and my kids entire life all fit inside of that time frame. Sometimes a bit of dedication is required!

Fuji XF 23mm f2 WR - The little lens that does it all … but can I justify it’s newer bigger brother?
I’ve used the Fuji XF 23mm f2 WR lens for the last three years and it’s become my most used lens. With the new XF 23mm F1.4 LM WR finally about to start shipping, it’s time for a review and reflection on it while I decide whether an upgrade is worth it for me.

Expired disposable film, shot in an SLR, and cross-processed in B&W … because why not?
Title says it all. What happens when you cross process expired colour film from a disposable camera in black and white? You get art … or garbage. I’m not sure which yet.

Ilford FP4 - I want to like it … but I’m not sure I do?
Many film photographers, myself included, swear by the iconic HP5 as their go to black and white film of choice. Does it’s finer grain cousin FP4 live up to those expectations when the higher speed isn’t required?
